КОНСПЕКТ УРОКА АНГЛИЙСКОГО  ЯЗЫКА

ПО ТЕМЕ «ДОБРО ПОЖАЛОВАТЬ В НЬЮ-ЙОРК».

Учебник: Кауфман К. И., Кауфман М. Ю., 9 класс.

Тип урока: Урок открытия нового знания.

Вид урока: развитие речевых умений учащихся.

Формы организации учебной деятельности: индивидуальная, коллективная, групповая

Цели урока:

Образовательная: 

  1. познакомить обучающихся со страноведческим материалом по теме «Добро пожаловать в Нью-Йорк»;
  2. способствовать расширению кругозора обучающихся в сфере культуры страны изучаемого языка;
  3. стимулировать деятельность обучающихся по средством  просмотра видео по теме урока.

Практическая:

  1. учить выражать личное мнение об увиденном;
  2. учить отвечать на вопрос;
  3. совершенствовать навыки  аудирования;
  4. совершенствовать  лексические навыки употребления в речи названий достопримечательностей Нью-Йорка.

Развивающая:

  1. развивать память, внимание, наблюдательность, логическое мышление обучающихся;
  2. развивать умение определять основную и второстепенную информацию;
  3. развивать положительные эмоции и чувства школьников и мотивационную сферу личности обучающихся;
  4. формировать способность обучающихся осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.

Воспитательная:

  1. способствовать развитию у школьников настойчивости в достижении поставленных целей;
  2. способствовать формированию положительного отношения к культуре стран изучаемого языка;
  3. формировать потребности в самовыражению обучающихся.

Оборудование:

  1. мультимедийный  проектор и экран;
  2. компьютер;
  3. видео по теме «Добро пожаловать в Нью-Йорк»;
  4. раздаточный материал с лексикой и заданиями;
  5. изображения с достопримечательностями Нью-Йорка;
  6. доска.

Пояснительная записка

Данная работа представлена по гуманитарному направлению. Методическая разработка урока отражает реализацию учебной программы «Английский язык  в 9 классе». Авторами программы являются: Кауфман К. И., Кауфман М. Ю. Данный урок проводится как урок с использованием ИКТ. Форма проведения урока мотивирует учеников на изучение предмета, делает урок интереснее и познавательнее.

Урок является завершающим по теме “New York, New York” в 9 классе. Его основная цель обобщить и систематизировать изученный материал о Нью-Йорке, формировать уважение к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка. В процессе подготовки электронной презентации неминуемо происходит интеграция информатики и английского языка, что также немаловажно повышения мотивации учебной деятельности.

Данное мероприятие преследует одновременно несколько важных целей. Первая цель – развить навыка поиска и анализа информации, поступающей через различные каналы восприятия (аудирование, чтение). Данный навык необходим не только в коммуникативном плане, но и при сдаче экзаменов в формате ОГЭ и ЕГЭ, что актуально для учащихся группы. Помимо практических  целей, мероприятие направлено на актуализацию материала программы при помощи нестандартных приемов и дополнительной информации.

Материал данной презентации может подойти к любому учебнику и учебному пособию и предлагается для использования на нескольких уроках:

1. Повторение уже известной информации по теме «Америка» и введение новой лексики с опорой на зрительные образы.

 2. Закрепление и расширение информации о достопримечательностях Нью-Йорка. Это даст возможность привлечь учащихся к работе, добавить их сообщения и презентации, так как для такого большого и интересного города информации всегда недостаточно.

 3. Контроль усвоения пройденного с опорой на зрительный ряд.

4. В приложениях можно дать более узкую, но не менее интересную тематику по городу. В моей версии они даны только как идея, которую нужно расширить и дополнить.

Также данная разработка может помочь учителям в проведении предметной недели по английскому языку, или может быть использована ими, как методическое пособие при проведении уроков.

When we hear “New York”, we usually think of the Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building, but there are many other interesting places in New York.

For example, Central Park. It is located in the center of Manhattan. Central park is very big. In this park people like to work out, play in the grass, sit on the benches, write, read or have lunch . You can visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art  that is next to Central Park and have lunch at The Boat House.

Times Square is noisy and crowded in comparison to Central park. There are a lot of people, lights and much to do at  Times Square.

Bubba Gump Shrimp is a good restaurant, you should try it.  Times Square is not far from Broadway.

Broadway is famous for its shows. You can meet a lot of popular actors here. People come on Broadway to enjoy live music and acting.

Manhattan is an island, it’s separated from other 4 districts by bays and rivers. The easiest way to get to Manhattan is by taking the Brooklyn Bridge. Its architecture is beautiful. People like it as a symbol of Brooklyn and New York. From it we can see a lot of New York City, the Statue of Liberty, New Jersey, Staten Island, the Chrysler Building and other famous skyscrapers.

New York is probably the best place to spend a day out because of New York’s diversity.
